Volkswagen celebrated building its millionth car carrying the Scirocco moniker with a special edition called the Scirocco Million.

Volkswagen says that it built 795,650 Sciroccos over two generations from 1974 to 1992. Since introducing the modern third generation in 2008, it has sold 204,350 cars.

For reaching the million-car milestone, Volkswagen has created a special edition Scirocco that will only be sold in Germany and China. The car comes in black with R-Line bumpers, R-Line side sills, smoked taillights, tinted rear windows and "Million" decals on the fenders. Inside, it gets black leather seats with orange stitching and other orange highlights inside. There are also "Million" decals on the doorsills.
