The KTM X-Bow has been unique since it debuted, but it never has been very versatile. Without doors, a windshield or roof, the X-Bow has only been useful on dry, warm roads. KTM is aiming to change that with the new GT that adds all of these elements to the X-Bow R.

The X-Bow GT gets a full windshield, actual doors with extending windows and a soft top that is approved for street use. KTM was also able to carve out 50 liters (1.7 cubic feet) of storage space in the GT as well. KTM also simplified starting the engine by adding a simple start/stop button that turns the engine on or off. It also gets added switches for the windshield wipers, HVAC system and windshield heater. 

The styling has also received a slight upgrade for the new model. The engine cover gets gill slits and connects directly to the re-shaped rear bodywork. The headlight surrounds are narrower, and KTM reshaped the hood.
