Since November 2011, the Jaguar XJ is available with two optional packages that make it sportier: Sport and Speed.
Sport Pack
The Sport Pack includes a host of aerodynamic tweaks and is available on all XJ models.
It adds a front splitter, and a bootlid spoiler. These changes have no effect on the car's .29 coeffcient of drag figure. The Sport Pack also blacks out the front grill and adds black mesh to the side openings and lower front air vents. The pack also includes red brake calipers, 20in wheels and split twin exhaust pipes.
With the Sport Pack, the interior gets sport seats with enlarged side bolsters and trimmed in leather. It also adds stainless steel pedals and piano black trim.
Speed Pack
The Speed Pack offers performance upgrades. It can only be ordered on supercharged XJs that already have the Sport Pack. It raises the electronically-limited top speed from 155mph (250km/h) to 174mph (280km/h).
