911 Carrera S (Germany, 2011)

After 48 years the model continues to be unmistakably a 911. Its longer wheelbase, further 100mm, and its lower height, the new 911 continues to show its athletic appearance, retaining the typical sports car compact exterior dimensions.

Changes at the front include a wider front which gives more stability on the road to the 911 and the remodeled exterior mirrors which are now placed on the upper edge of the door as an aerodynamic advantage but also as part of the new design line.

The new 911 has received an all-new, lightweight body, an intelligent aluminium-steel construction which is responsible for most of the weight reduction, compared to the previous one.

Aerodynamic optimization includes a wider, variably extending rear spoiler enables the new 911 Carrera’s lift to be reduced, while it still features a very good Cd value.
