22,500 Panameras sold in one year

With just one year since its introduction into the market, the Panamera has already become a very important pillar in Porsche’s lineup. Since its launch 22,518 Panameras have already been sold, with 2,530 vehicles just in Germany. The Gran Trismo has attracted the drivers of big international metropolises, developing a new customer segment.

One of the most important markets for the Panamera is the North American. Here the cities of Los Angeles and New York have a total of 1650 Panameras driving around their streets. Another important market for the four-seater is the Asian. Hong Kong with 300, Tokyo with 223 and Shanghai with 188, these are some of the cosmopolitan cities that already count with a significant presence of Panameras.

Dubai (285), Moscow (203), Munich (206), Hamburg (117) and Berlin (108) are other metropolises where the Panamera has been well received.

“Our corporate strategy of value-oriented growth has proven itself to be a successful model: With the Panamera, Porsche has clearly positioned itself with the sportiest automobile in the high-end and luxury-class market and achieves already a 13 per-cent share of its segment today”, explained Bernhard Maier, Member of the Management Board for Sales and Marketing of the Porsche AG.

The Gran Turismo series has five different models to offer: the Panamera and Panamera 4, the Panamera S and Panamera 4S and finally the Panamera Turbo. From the five models, the Panamera 4S is the one that has been sold the most with 9,394 vehicles already delivered. It is followed by the Panamera Turbo and the Panamera S, with 6,171 and 4,563 vehicles sold respectively. Having been introduced just a few weeks ago, the six-cylinder-model Panamera has already been sold to 2,390 customers.
