Abt's kit boosts the Beetle's 2.0-liter TDI from 140hp to 170hp and 370Nm of torque, a 50Nm improvement. These power modifications make the car 0.8 seconds faster to 100km/h now taking 8.8 seconds.

Abt already offered a power package for the 2.0 TSI engine that boasted power to 240hp. The standard version has 200hp. 

These performance upgrades come in addition to Abt's design upgrades for the Beetle. The kit includes headlight and taillight covers, front spoiler, rear skirt and oval exhausts. Buyers can also add a carbon-look package that adds carbon fiber trim pieces. Abt also offers stiffer springs, a big brake kit and custom 18in to 20in wheels.
