appear to be in a German brawl over who can create more sporty versions of their niche models. It appears that Audi will add two new RS models next year based on some of its most niche models.

BMW just revealed the M6 Gran Coupe, and Audi will answer back with the RS7, obviously based on the A7Audi A7Germany, 2010 > present39 versions

four-door coupe. Like the M6 Gran Coupe to the M6, the RS7 will be mechanically identical to its RS6 sibling. That means you should expect a 553hp and 479lb-ft, 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 that should get the car to 100km/h in around 4 seconds, maybe a hair less. 

There is a possibility that Audi will offer the RS7 instead of an RS6 sedan. That would keep the company from having two super fast sedans with the same drivetrain and platform. The RS6 would be limited to the Avant.
