The factory has built 235 different engine variations since it opened in 1993 ranging from four to 12 cylinders and power between 84hp and 562hp. It employs 5,400 people and builds 8,100 engines a day. It builds both petrol and diesel engines

“The 25-millionth engine underscores the longstanding success story of engine production at Audi Hungaria. Nearly all engines in Audi models come from Gyor,” said Dr. Frank Dreves, head of production at Audi.

It added an engine development center in 2001 to create prototype engines for Audi.

The auto factory at the Gyor campus builds the A3 Sedan, A3 CabrioletAudi A3 Cabriolet 1.4 TFS...Germany, 2014 > present, TT Coupe and Roadster. It builds 125,000 cars each year.
