The W12 engine will be tuned from its current 567hp to around 650hp. The rear seats will be removed and some body panels will be replaced with carbon fiber. The Supersport will aim to sharpen the Continental with a lower weight, bettering steering and improved brakes. 

Bentley will launch the car to link with the Continental GT3 that will begin racing at the end of the year. The Supersports will be meant to offer a closer link between the road car and racecar than the current Continental GT Speed.
