In a picture released to the press, Bentley showed the front of the SUV, showing that the new model will keep the main design features of the brand such as the mesh grille and round headlights, combining them with traditional proportions of a model of this segment.

The SUV will be the fourth model in the Bentley range and, according to what has been revealed, it will keep the essence of the brand, keeping the brand's "hallmarks of luxury, performance, quality and craftsmanship". According to Bentley, the new SUV will create a new segment in the SUV market.

The launch of the new model is already scheduled for 2016, when it is set to become the most powerful SUV on the market. Moreover, the British brand is already considering launching a plug-in hybrid version in 2018. Bentley had revealed previously that it had already received 2000 pre-orders of the model, even before presenting it. The brand aims to sell 3000 units per year.

In order to receive a new model, Bentley is already preparing the Crewe factory. The company has already hired over 250 employees to work in the production of the new SUV and the number is expected to grow before the start of production.

The launch of the Bentley SUV is part of an investment of around 958 million euros with the goal of reaching annual sales of 15 thousand vehicles in 2018.
