Bertone Nuccio Wedge-Shaped Concept Coming to Geneva

Bertone has announced that it will have a wedge-shaped concept car that the Geneva Motor Show on March 6.

This year is the centenary for Bertone. The name Nuccio comes from the nickname of Giuseppe Bertone who took over the company after World War 2 from this father Giovanni Bertone. The Nuccio is a mid-engined, two-seat car.meant to evoke the designs of the Bertone concepts from the 60s and 70s like the Lamborghini Countach and Lancia Stratos. 

After the Geneva Motor Show, Bertone will display the car in Beijing, and it will then be on display at the Turin National Car Museum through the summer. It will also be on display the Concorso Italiano at Laguna Seca in the US. 

Two of the other classic Italian designers, Pininfarina and Giugiaro, will also have concepts at Geneva.

Striking design no doubt! Bertone as always bringing some irreverence to the show.

Indeed, there is a great flavor of the original Bertone Stratos, one of its most emblematic concept. And the Nuccio also reminds me of the head of a snake or other reptilian, not you?
