Ever dreamt of being the owner of a brand new Bugatti Veyron? Well from now on you’ll just have to settle for a second hander because production of the Veyron has officially ended and the last one has been sold.
A European customer has ordered the final model; number 300 of a production run which included both the standard Veyron and its 430 km/h+ bigger brother, the Super Sport. Still available though is the Veyron Grand Sport, which is no slouch in that it can achieve a top speed of 369 km/h with its roof down.
President of Bugatti Automobiles SAS, Wolfgang Durheimer, highlighted the achievements of the Veyron and assured us that today is not a completely sad one in the automotive world because there is more to come.
“In the Veyron, the Bugatti team has created a vehicle that has already become an icon of automotive history. Both technologically and in terms of design, the Veyron is still far ahead of its time. The Grand Sport is a further pinnacle of achievement in the open-top sports car segment, and we intend to maintain the same standard in our future Bugatti products,” he said.
