The choice of Ettore Bugatti was clear from the beginning for the President of Bugatti, Wolfgang Dürheimer. "Ettore Bugatti has always strived for the creation of a total work of art. His ideas and vehicles set the foundation stone for an automobile brand that was lauded then and now as the most valuable in the world. Ettore Bugatti himself was a legend. It was clear from the start that we should dedicate the final Legends model to him personally."

as all other Legends. The vehicle is equipped with the 8.0-liter W16 engine with 1200hp, allowing it to accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in just 2.6 seconds. With a top speed of 408.84km/h, the Vitesse is the fastest production roadster in the world.

Design

The carbon body design of the "Ettore Bugatti" Legends is based on the 1932 Type 41 Royale chassis 41111. With a painting in "yin-yang" style, the front part is made of hand-polished aluminium and finished with a clear coating, which is being used for the first time on the front panels and full side, including the bonnet, bases and covers of mirrors, the exterior door handles and the corners of the bumpers, the wings, the doors and the regions just behind them, the so-called “medallions” (in French). The vehicle’s rear, sill panels and A-pillar trims are finished with dark-blue exposed carbon

Based on one of the most famous designs of wheels in automotive history, the Ettore Bugatti Legends gets polished wheels with diamond cut specially developed for this vehicle finished in dark blue to match the new design. The traditional horseshoe with the EB logo on the back has a platinum finish.

The signature of company founder Ettore Bugatti is engraved in the fuel tank cover that was painted silver lid.

Inside Bugatti decided to use two types of leather. Most of the interior is coated on tradition calfskin. For parts that are usually touched with the hands, as the steering wheel, the gear lever, the armrest of the center console and door handles, Bugatti chose a unique cordovan leather, which is usually used in footwear.

One of the main interior feature is the dancing elephant coated in platinum which is inserted in the center box cover at the back, which reminds the hood of the Type 41 Royale. The figure was originally sculpted by Ettore's brother Rembrandt.

Exclusive limited edition

Like the previous Legend editions, the Ettore Bugatti Legends will have only three units produced. Each of them will be sold for 2.35 million euros, making it a highly unique and exclusive vehicle.

During the presentation of the last edition, Bugatti will gather all the Legend Edition at the Pebble Beach Concours D'Elegance, in a unique opportunity to see the six cars all together.
