Cadillac Putting V-series Engineers on ATS

Cadillac is putting its best on the ATS compact sedan that should be unveiled in 2012. It has confirmed that it has put the same engineers responsible for the CTS-V on the ATS to help its development. The goal, according to Cadillac, is to create the best car in the class.

“It's been the persistent attention to detail in noise-vibration-harshness, the gram-by-gram mass reduction, and consistent focus on ‘fun to drive’ attributes that led this team to hone the suspension and steering in the demanding environments of the German Autobahn and Nurburgring Nordschleife,” said ATS lead development engineer Chris Berube.

The ATS will be built at the Cadillac factory in Lansing, Michigan, alongside the CTS sedan and wagon.

With all the praise the CTS-V is getting, I'm sure this will be much more better.
