Felipe Massa wants to improve in Korea

After two disappointing races in Singapore and Japan, Felipe Massa is coming to Korea with the objective to improve on his performance and help Ferrari in the championship.

Over the last two races, the Brazilian driver failed to perform as well as his team-mate Fernando Alonso and he is now called on to help the Spaniard on his fight for the world title.

After retiring from the Japanese Grand Prix after crashing on the opening lap and a disappointing eighth place in Singapore, Felipe Massa is willing to redeem himself in Korea.

"I was at home in Brazil for about one week and I made good use of my time, getting as well prepared as possible for the final trio of races, which is going to be very important for me on a personal level to fight back after the disappointing outcome of the last two races in Japan and before that Singapore," wrote Massa on Ferrari's website.

His main goal is to try to bring home as much points as he can in order to help Ferrari in its fight for both championships. Massa wants to make a strong qualifying performance and then become a factor in the fight for the drivers' title.

"As for my aims this weekend, firstly we need to qualify well on Saturday and after that, in the race, I want to be in the middle of the battle for the drivers' championship, fighting with those five drivers who are chasing the title, which is the best thing I can do to help Ferrari's and Fernando's aspirations as we head for the end of the championships,” said Felipe.

Massa wants to secure a good result in Korea before he goes back to his home, for the Brazilian Grand Prix in Sao Paulo.

"I know that everyone in the team, at the track and the factory is completely pumped up for the challenge of these last three races and I am equally keen to give them my best shot," added Massa.
