has announced that it is changing its recent Formula 1 naming convention for the 2013 season. Its latest car will be called the F138. It says that the name comes from the current year, 2013, and the cylinder count, a V8. The name is because it is the last year for V8s in in Formula 1. It will be the 59th Ferrari Formula 1 car that has raced in Formula 1.

Ferrari is the only Formula 1 team to have participated in every season of Formula 1. 

The new car will be revealed on February 1. If the Lotus e21 is any indication, the F138 will be an evolution of the F2012's design.
