says that it is already dyno testing its 2014 Formula 1 engine for when the series switches to turbocharged, 1.6-liter V6 engines.
"It is a very challenging period for power train people. We are working on the 2012 power train and the rest of the season is very important, but no one mentions we also have to work on the 2013 engine with a new installation which is big work. At the same time, we have the V6, and the first of the V6s is running on the dyno. It is an interesting project," said Ferrari head of engine development Luca Marmorini.

are reportedly already working on their 2014 engines as well. There has been no word from Cosworth yet if it will build an engine to the new specification. That could mean that there will be three engines on the grid for the 2014 season.
