Ferrari Opening Temporary Museum at AutoClassica in Milan

Ferrari Opening Temporary Museum at AutoClassica in Milan

Museo Ferrari will be showing two cars at the AutoClassica exhibition in Milan from February 17 to 19.

The first car is the 500 F2 that won the 1952 Formula 1 Championship, the third year that the championship existed. The car was driven by Alberto Ascari and was the first Ferrari to win the title in Formula 1.

The other car is a 1959 250 GT Berlinetta short wheelbase. These cars won the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1960 and 1961 and the Tour de France from 1959-1962.

Museo Ferrari started in 1990 with a goal to restore and display classic Ferrari cars and history. The museum has a main location in Modena, Italy, and it includes an example of every Ferrari every built. The museum also houses Enzo Ferrari's office exactly as he left it including all of his furniture and objects.
