Finalized Formula E Car Will Debut in Las Vegas with Test Drive

SRT_01E will get its first public demonstration of the final car in Las Vegas on January 6, and it will also be the first time that the car has ever been shown in North America. The event will coincide with the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.

The car will be driven around a temporary course at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino by former F1 driver Lucas di Grassi.

Di Grassi completed a two-day test of the car at the La Ferté Gaucher circuit on November 20 and 21.

“It’s going to be a fantastic spectacle and a great way for us to start the New Year in a very positive way. 2014 is, of course, a very big year for Formula E with the championship starting in Beijing in September,” said Formula E Holdings CEO Alejandro Agag
