Ford is giving the Focus ST a big push in the United States. It will be the first time the car has been sold there, and only the second time a performance version of the Focus has been on offer in the US. Ford has decided that the best place to lift the curtain on the car in the US is at the LA Auto Show on November 16.
In the US the Focus ST will get the same 2.0 liter, Ecoboost four-cylinder engine as in Europe, but Ford has not yet published power figures for the US spec car; so there is a possibility power could be a bit different.
The other car Ford is bringing to Los Angeles is the Fiesta ST Concept that shows what a future ST-version of the Fiesta will look like in the future. In contrast to the Focus, the Fiesta ST uses a 1.6 liter, Ecoboost four-cyclinder engine making about 180hp and 177lb.-ft of torque according to Ford.
Both cars will be on display at the LA Auto Show running from November 16-27.
