Ford Explorer Recreated in Lego

Lego is an amazing toy. It can be used to make practically anything from robots to houses to a Porsche. Ford and Legoland Florida collaborated to make a full-size Ford Explorer out of Lego.

The Explorer was made from 380,000 Lego bricks by 22 designers. It weighs 2,654lbs and is supported by a 768lb aluminum base. 

It will be transferred from Florida to Chicago in a transparent trailer so motorists can see it.  

The model is also meant to celebrate the opening of Legoland Florida that opens October 15.
