Mondeo

The new Mondeo will be offered in three body styles - estate, sedan and five-door notchback. All models get a new rear suspension that Ford claims makes the cabin quieter and improves the ride for rear passengers.

The Mondeo will be available with the 1.0-liter Ecoboost, 1.6-liter ECOnetic diesel, a hybrid version and an all-wheel drive diesel. The hybrid will use a 2.0-liter petrol engine with a 47hp electric motor to improve economy. There will also be 1.5l and 2.0l Ecoboost engines and a 2.0l diesel

The new Mondeo is packed with options including Ford's new advanced parking assist system that allows the car to perpendicular park without human intervention, full LED headlights, power tailgate, massaging seats, rear inflating seatbelts, Ford Sync with an 8in touchscreen.

“These features underline the sophisticated quality, technology and driving experience that all-new Mondeo delivers. The Mondeo has always been at the forefront of Ford’s European passenger car range, but the all-new model is a watershed moment for large car customers and a new benchmark for features in this competitive sector," said Barb Samardzich, vice president of product development at Ford.

The new Mondeo will be launched in Europe in the second half of 2013.

compact SUV will also be on display in Paris. Ford says that it will be on sale in all of Europe within the next 18 months.

The Ecosport will only be available with Ford's 1.0-liter Ecoboost at launch.

The Ecosport was developed entirely in South America and is already on sale in Brazil.

Tourneo Connect

The final new vehicle that Ford will display is the Tourneo Connect that Ford is aiming at large families. It will be offering five-seat and seven-seat versions of the Tourneo Connect and will offer features like Ford's 1.0-liter Ecoboost, Active City Stop and Sync. It rides on the same platform as the Focus and Escape

In terms of design, the Tourneo Connect takes its cues from Ford's SUVs like the Ecosport and Escape. In seven seat models, the third row of seats folds flat for when not in use.

In addition to the 1.0 Ecoboost, Ford will also offer the car with 75ps, 95ps and 115ps tunes of its 1.6-liter diesel engine and a tune of the 1.6-liter Ecoboost. All models get stop/start and active grill shutters, and the 1.6-liter will be available with an optional six-speed automatic.
