UK has competed an £7.5m to its vehicle service infrastructure that it is calling Ford BlueService. The upgrades include a free electronic vehicle health check, booking service appointments online and a helpline. It is also fixing prices for parts, service and operating system upgrades nationwide.
“This new package combining servicing, roadside assistance and an annual inspection will benefit customers driving Fords of any age or mileage. On top of that, the ability to call access services through a single contact number ensures unrivalled convenience and peace of mind," said Jon Wellsman, Ford UK's director of customer service.
The new service regimen means that customers will receive paperwork after their car has been scanned showing what items need immediate attention and what service can wait until later. All service can be scheduled at any time online from any authorized Ford service center. All customers who have their service done at a Ford-authorized repair center also get 12 month or 12,500 mile roadside assistance. Ford has also set up a helpline that can answer questions on technical issues, schedule service appointments and file insurance claims.
For business customers, Ford has set up a special group for specific service of commercial vehicles including roadside assistance and load-continuation that will make sure a load gets delivered while the vehicle is being repaired.
