Forumula 1 Coming to New Jersey with Manhattan Skyline as Backdrop

The Wall Street Journal is not usually a major souce for breaking motorsports news, but today it got a major scoop. It looks like Formula 1 will be coming to a street circuit in Weehawken, New Jersey, directly across the Hudson River from Manhattan in 2013.

The official announcement will come Tuesday, October 25, in a press conference at Port Imperial.

With the race in Austin, Texas, being added next year, 2013 will be the first time the US has hosted two F1 races in a season since 1984.
