HRT reveals the F111

Hispania Racing Team has released the first images of the F111, the single-seater that the Spanish team will be making its second year participation in the Formula One Championship.

The F111 has been created by a team of Hispania Racing engineers and designers, a project with technical guidance of Geoff Willis and Chief Designer Paul White.

According to Jose Ramon Carabante, Hispania Racing President the team is proud of what they have achieved with the F111.

“Despite a challenging first year, we managed to finish on the eleventh position in the World Constructors Championship. Now, we are very pleased to introduce the first spec of the F111, which means a huge design-effort from our side. This is only a first step as we are planning several updates during the season,” said Carabanate.

Colin Kolles, Team Principal of Hispania Racing says that the F111 will represent a big step forward for HRT. Kolles says that the new challenger will represent a major improvement from the team for their second Formula One season, confirming their commitment to F1. HRT Team Principal also confirmed that the F111 will incorporate the adjustable rear wing.

Until now only Indian driver Narain Karthikeyan has been confirmed by HRT as an official pilot of the team for the 2011 season.
