, one petrol and one diesel. These two new options will be introduced in Geneva.
The model has rear-wheel drive and a seven-speed automatic transmission.
The Infiniti Q50 makes the world debut of some advanced technologies from the Japanese brand. One of them is a Direct Adaptive Steering system that directly controls the angle of the tires and has some steering inputs that are actually faster than the mechanical system.
Another technological debut is the advanced departure lane warning system. This technology monitors any lane exit and compensates for unintended changes in steer caused by wind or road conditions. According to Infiniti this system reduces driver fatigue because it reduces the number of required actions on the steering wheel.
The car can also be set to up to four different drivers through the "i-Keys" system. This technology allows the car to recognize four types of different settings in terms of driving position, temperature, sound, navigation, and driving information.
