has released its 2012/2013 fiscal results and retail sales were up 22% over last year to 374,636 vehicles. Revenue was up 17% to £15.8 billion and before tax profit was up 11% to £1.675 billion. "The positive result for the financial year demonstrates that we have strong demand for our great, solid product portfolio all around the world," said Jaguar Land Rover CEO Dr. Ralf Speth.

By region, sales in China were up 48%, up 27% in Asia, up 20% in the UK, up 18% in Europe, up 9% in North America and up 19% in its other markets.

In the past year, Jaguar Land Rover has hired 3,000 new employees and spent £2.75 billion on creating new products and building its new engine factory that will open in March 2014. 

In the next fiscal year Land Rover will get new products including the Range Rover SportRange Rover Sport Gen.2Land Rover Range Rover Sport Gen.2United Kingdom, 2013 > present36 versions
