is continuing what will likely be a record year with sales up 17% in September to 43,181 cars. It was the brand’s best September in its history, and it has already exceeded 2012 sales in the first nine months of the year with 312,834 cars sold, up 16%. Jaguar sales alone were up 35% to 8,462 cars, and Land Rover sales were up 13% to 34,719 cars.

“This has been another record month for Jaguar and Land Rover with significant sales growth across all major regions. Jaguar is delivering impressive year on year growth having already surpassed its 2012 sales performance,” said Andy Goss, head of Jaguar Land Rover sales.

Jaguar Land Rover is doing incredibly well around the world, but especially in Asia. Sales in the Asia Pacific region are up 29% an up 46% in China for September. For the year through September, it has double-digit growth in all major regions, exepct for Europe where sales are up 5%.

Jaguar is doing especially well in China with sales up 218% in September and up 122% for the year through September. Even European sales are up 12% in September and up 18% through the first three quarters.

Land Rover growth is not as brisk, but it is selling more actual vehicles. Chinese sales lead with 30% growth in September and 13% in the first three quarters.

At this point, Jaguar Land Rover is certain to have a record sales year, and it is just a question of how much sales grow.
