sold 28.503 cars in April - 4,711 from Jaguar, up 12%, and 23,792 from Land Rover, up 12%. For the year so far Jaguar Land Rover has sold 143,974 cars, up 16%.

"This is a positive start to our second quarter sales and continues the growth trend seen in the first three months of the year," said Phil Popham, Jaguar Land Rover Director of Sales. 

The 28,503 sales represented the best April sales ever for the company, and it was up 12% over last year. Sales increased in all of the company's regions. Asia was up 37%, UK up 32%, North America up 6% and Europe up 2%. 

The for first quarter Jaguar Land Rover sales were up 21% in Asia, 20% in the UK, 13% in North America and 8% in Europe

Of Jaguar's sales, 1225 cars or 26% were the XFJaguar XF Gen.1United Kingdom, 2007 > 201570 versions
