Jaguar Says C-X17 Crossover Concept Was Meant to Gauge Interest

debuted its C-X17Jaguar C-X17United Kingdom, 2014 > 2014 crossover concept at the Frankfurt Motor Show last week, and it says the concept was to gauge market interest for possibly building the car. Jaguar’s official reason for showing the concept was to present its new modular vehicle platform that will debut in 2015 on a new luxury sedan.

"If we can get a slightly different performance-luxury design and new technology, it is possible we could carve out a different niche.

The next plan for the C-X17 is to display it at the Los Angeles Auto Show in November and gauge the interest of the American market. Whether it will be popular in the United States, will decide whether a production version is authorized.
