, you are not alone. The folks from Jaguar have considered the same thing, but there are problems with placing the 503hp 5.0-liter V8 into the station wagon, namely the self-leveling rear suspension. 

"It would be tricky to re-engineer the self-leveling rear suspension to cope with the high performance of such an engine," said Jaguar brand director Adrian Hallmark.

Building the car would mean switching to a more traditional multi-link rear suspension. According to Hallmark, if it happens, the XFR Sportbrake would be limited to just a few hundred units worldwide like the XFR-SXFR-SJaguar XFR-SUnited Kingdom, 2013 > present17 photos
