Jeep Starts Contest to Name Production-Intent Grand Cherokee Concept

Jeep has started a contest to allow people to name a yet-unamed, production-intent concept based on the Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo X. The winner will then get a chance to win the truck. If Jeep is happy with the truck's buzz, it will be ready for showrooms by the end of the spring. 

The concept starts as a Laredo X and adds blacked-out trim and 20in black, aluminum wheels. The grill is black with a platinum chrome lower grill. Black headlight bezels and a black liftgate add to the appearance. Inside it has heated seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shifter. There is also a 9-speaker stereo with subwoofer, backup camera and parking assist. 

The contest web site can be found here. For now any one can submit a name for the truck. Jeep will narrow down the entries to three top winners. Those will then be posted for people to vote on. The winning name will win the truck.
