Kimi Raikkonen Crashes into Car While Leaving German Grand Prix

Raikkonen was not harmed in his very humorous fall

Kimi Raikkonen kind of lucked into the podium in last weekend's German Grand Prix. After the stewards ruled that Sebastian Vettel's pass on Jenson Button on lap 66 was illegal because Vettel went of track and gave him a 20 second penalty, Raikkonen inherited third place.

Apparently Raikkonen's luck had run out. Germany's Bild magazine snapped the above photo of Raikonnen leaving the track. An observer reported that Raikkonen was taking a shortcut away from the track when it appears that he tried to hop over a fence. Instead, he tripped and fell into a parked Infiniti FXFX Gen.2Infiniti FX Gen.2Japan, 2009 > present27 versions

. Raikkonen mumbled an obscenity and went on his way.

Still, it shows that just because you can drive a 200mph racecar, it does not mean you are well coordinated.

Maybe the owner of the Infinity can sell the car at a premium, mentionning the bump was made by Iceman leaving the podium ;-)

What if it were an FX that Infiniti gave to Vettel? He takes a 20 second penalty and then comes out and his car is dented.
