fairly major upgrades last year when gave the long-lived truck a new 2.2-liter diesel engine and higher quality interior. This year the upgrades are more minor with new colors and seats available. 

The 2013 Defender gets a choice of four roof colors: Santorini Black, Indus Silver, Orkney Grey or Firenze Red. It also has new, optional partial leather seats for the front and rear. The new radio offers a CD-player, USB connection and Aux jack. Buyers can further add optional Bluetooth and an optional Alpine radio with 150W subwoofer.
