The XL will not share a platform with the standard Evoque, instead it will use Jaguar Land Rover’s modular aluminum platform that was previewed on the C-X17C-X17Jaguar C-X17United Kingdom, 2014 > 2014 crossover concept. It would use the new lightweight platform with its new turbocharged four-cylinder petrol and diesel engine family.
