Chairman Luca di Montezemolo European Manager of the Year for 2012. The organization is made of 48 European business newspapers and magazines from 27 countries. The European Manager of the Year award has existed since 1991 and is voted on by the editors of the member publications. 

Di Montezemolo received the award for his work done in the last 20 years as Chairman of Ferrari. Specifically he overhauled the Ferrari range making the cars more reliable, made the Formula 1 team successful again and elevated awareness of the Ferrari brand worldwide. Under di Montezemolo's tenure, the Ferreri factory has been improved as well and has been voted as Best Place to Work in Europe. 

Di Montezemolo is also the president of NTV, which operates the only private, high speed train in Italy.
