that it hopes will extend to Aston Martin. However, there have been no confirmations from any side that Aston Martin will actually get this technology. The possibility is there for Aston Martin to use AMG equipment in the near future. 

Aston Martin's other investors are Investment Dar, CEO Ulrich Bez and Chairman David Richards. Aston Martin says that the money from InvestIndustrial will be used to jumpstart new product development that should reach fruition within five years. 

“We know these guys. They were behind Ducati and we had a very closely knit marketing deal with them. They rang and asked if they won the bid for Aston would we be interested in being a technology partner," said a Mercedes source who had worked with InvestIndustrial.

Aston Martin especially wants to use Mercedes' V12 engine to replace the engine that it developed with FordFordFordUnited Kingdom, 1909 > present33 models
