with most sales coming from Germany, Russia, the UK, Italy and France. Opel forecasts that 66% of sales will come from these countries. The model getting the highest sales is the Mokka Cosmo with the 140hp 1.4-liter Turbo ecoFlex engine and all-wheel drive.

“Our attractive newcomer is on the way to becoming one of the bestsellers in the sub-compact SUV class, the fastest-growing vehicle segment in Europe,” says Duncan Aldred, head of sales and marketing at Opel/Vauxhall.

Opel believes that the Mokka's popularity stems from its small size and utility. Its diminutive size works well in the city, but the all-wheel drive and higher ride height means that it will work just as well in rural areas. Opel says that most orders have come from middle-aged couples that lead an active lifestyle.

The Mokka can be optioned with high tech features like adaptive lighting, FlexFix bike carrier and front camera with forward collision alert.
