The Platinum Edition wears exclusive platinum silver metallic paint on the trim that covers the rear diffuser and trunk lid. It also gets the side mirrors, air inlets and 19in wheels from the Turbo. The Panamera Platinum Edition is availble in five colors: metallic basalt black, metallic carbon grey and metallic mahogany lacquer, solid black and solid white.

It also gets added standard equipment including bi-xenon headlights, front parking assist and automatically dimming rearview and side mirrors. Inside, the Platinum Edition gets black/luxor beige two-tone leather seats, dashboard, door trim, footwell and backs of the front seats. The luggage cover is in black leather. It also gets heated front seats, satellite navigation, sport steering wheel, Porsche crest on the headrests front and rear and a Platinum Edition doorsill plate. A full leather interior that adds even more leather-covered surfaces is also optional.

Mechanically, the Platinum Edition has Power Steering Plus standard.

Platinum Edition prices in Germany start at €79,707 for the Panamera, €82,206 for the diesel and  €87,323 for the Panamera 4. All prices include 19% German VAT.

Porsche says that the special edition will also be available in the US for $80,500 for Panamera Platinum Edition  and 84,600 for the Panamera 4 Platinum Edition. The Panamera Diesel is not sold in the US.
