Pirelli has announced the tire compounds that will be available to Formula 1 teams for the first four races of 2013.
Only the first race at Australia will have the super-soft tires available. They will be the option tire.
For the 2013 season, the hard-compound tire has an orange sidewall ring, and the medium-compound tire has a white sidewall ring.
The super-soft and medium compounds will be available in Australia. The medium and hard compounds will be available at the Malaysia Grand Prix. The soft and medium compounds will be available at the Chinese Grand Prix. The Bahrain Grand Prix will have the soft and hard compounds.
Each team gets six sets of the prime tires and five sets of the option tires for each grand prix. If in case of rain, Pirelli will also have four sets of intermediate tires and three sets of wet tires for each team at each grand prix.
