Porsche Panamera and Cayenne Get Recalled for Faulty Turbo

Panamera TurboPorsche Panamera Turbo PDKGermany, 2009 > present3 photos
and Cayenne TurboPorsche Cayenne TurboGermany, 2010 > present12 photos
are being recalled due to a problem in the casting in the turbine wheel. It is possible that the turbine could shatter in the right situation. 

The recall affects the 2012 Cayenne Turbo and 2011 and 2012 Panamera Turbo. 

If the turbine wheel fractures, it could harm the turbo shaft and destroy the turbo. For now this only affects cars in the US, but European owners should keep an eye out for a similar recall.
