revealed the concept for its new sports car at the show last year, and it will be built just a few hours south in Marysville, Ohio.
The production version is meant to look identical to the concept shown last year. Due to the lack of the Acura brand outside of North America, it will be badged as a Honda for the rest of the world.
Honda has confirmed that the NSX will use a three-motor hybrid system and a V6 engine. There is one electric motor powering the front wheels and a single motor for each rear wheel. Power for the total package is speculated to be around 400hp.
The news that the car is coming to Detroit comes from a Honda executive at the Sao Paulo Motor Show. We have reached out to Acura for confirmation.
