is offering French workers early retirement in hopes that it will be able to cut workers and become more profitable. It hopes that a significant portion of its 27% of workers who are 50 or older accept the offer.

In addition to early retirement, workers who take the offer will receive paid leave for up to 18 months.

PSA is already cutting 11,200 workers in France, about 14% of its French workforce, and closing its Aulnay factory.
