Peugeot unveiled a new version that will be part of the launch range offered for the completely renovated
3008, model which is no longer an MPV and became a SUV. The
3008 GT will take top spot of the model range when it arrives on the market in November.
Equipped with the diesel 2.0 liter BlueHDi engine with 180hp, the 3008 GT is 30hp more powerful than the current top range version announced for the
new 3008. Combined with an automatic six-speed gearbox this engine promises to take the new GT to 100km/h in about eight seconds (official values are yet to be announced by Peugeot).
Inside the 3008 GT is equipped with Peugeot's new i-Cockpit which includes a 12.3 inches panel with configurable instruments. The infotainment system will be equipped with a 3D satellite navigation system that will be entitled to traffic live updates for three years, courtesy of TomTom. In terms of safety systems the 3008 GT will be fitted with Active Blind Spot Detection function, Lane Keeping Assistance and Smartbeam assist.
Visually the GT receives two-tone diamond wheels, larger wheel arches, a panoramic roof and a driver's seat with massage. These options of the 3008 GT will be available to other engines of the model through GT Line trim.
