Refreshed Fiesta Production Begins in Europe

The refreshed Ford Fiesta has begun production at Ford's Cologne, Germany, factory. Deliveries are set to begin in a few weeks. The refreshed car is available with the 1.0 Ecoboost, Active City Stop and Sync. 

The major change in the refreshed car is its grill that looks more like the Focus ST and Mondeo. Across Europe it will be offered with seven engines. 

Ford has also improved the Fiesta's interior ergonomics and styling. 

“The new Fiesta has seven powertrain options – both diesel and petrol – that deliver fuel economy of less than 100 grams of CO2 per kilometer,” said Roelant de Waard, Ford of Europe head of sales and service. 

Ford has also upgraded the technology in the refreshed Fiesta. The car is available with Ford's voice-activated Sync infotainment system, Active City Stop automatic emergency braking system and MyKey, which allows parents to limit the speeds at which their children can drive.
