Rolls-Royce Brings Phantom Series II to Geneva

Rolls-Royce is launching its new Series 2 Phantom at the Geneva Motor Show that gives some upgrades to all of the Phantom models.

Full LED headlights are standard that include the ability to bend around curves and adaptive headlights that adjust where the headlights point as the car's speed changes.

The navigation system has been upgraded to include 3d topography and more points of interest.

Mechanically the new Phantom Series II gets an eight-speed transmission and new rear differential. The V12 engine now features direct injection. These modifications drop the Phantom's emissions to 347g/km of CO2, down from 388g/km.

Those are all the changes planned for the new Series II Phantom that will go on sale later this year.

I believe the front to have lost a bit of its originality and appeal.
