has confirmed that Romain Grosjean will stay with the Lotus F1 team for the 2013 season after a rocky return to Formula 1. The driver line-up will stay the same with Romain Grosjean and Kimi Raikkonen.

“It’s fantastic for me to be continuing with Lotus F1 Team for 2013. It’s superb to have the support of everyone at Enstone. I’m really looking forward to rewarding their faith when we take to the track in Australia. I learnt a lot in my first full season in Formula 1 and my aim is to put these lessons into practice with stronger and more consistent performance on track next year," said Grosjean.

Grosjean scored 96 points to be eighth in the World Drivers' Championship. He officialy retired from seven races and did not technically finish the Japanese Grand Prix but made it past 90% to be officially listed as he finished. He was also suspended from the Italian Grand Prix for causing a major first lap crash during the Belgian Grand Prix. Still, he scored three podiums this season.

Grosjean raced a partial season in 2009 when he replaced Nelson Piquet Jr. for seven races.
