, he left a hole at the top spot in the company. Today, first via Twitter, Audi announced that Scott Keogh would take over the position of Audi of America President effective immediately.
Keogh has been the Chief Marketing Officer at Audi of America for the last six years where he was responsible for product planning, marketing and advertising. In recent years, he has played a major part in introducing Audi's TDI engines to the US and developed the strategy to re-introduce Audi's RS models in America. Keogh also came up with the idea for the Truth in 24 documentary.
Audi has demonstrated remarkable progress in recent years. There is much work to be done in a highly competitive segment of the auto business. But the sights are set and the team is in place to meet our goals," said Keogh.
