has taken its upcoming small SUV for testing in winter conditions. The Arona is expected to be launched later this year at the Frankfurt Motor Show and will have its design inspired in the AtecaSeat Ateca Gen.1Spain, 2016 > present22 versions

Although the Arona prototype is almost fully disguised, we can still get a glance at the head and tail-lights, with the rear LED design similar to the Ateca. The smaller SUV should have a smoother design than the Ateca.

The Arona will be launched a few months after the release of the next generation Ibiza. There is also a possibility that the design will share some cues with the supermini. The model will also share its powertrains with the Ibiza.

Just like the Ateca, the Arona should also get the X-Perience trim, as well as four-wheel drive option.
