SEAT Sport gives outlook on 2011 season

SEAT Sport gave a preview of its plans for the 2011 season and declared a shift in focus away from organizing the SEAT León Supercopa and SEAT León Eurocup in Spain, and towards customer sports and the personalization of the brand's models for national and international championships.

SEAT Sport will continue with its 2010 orientation of giving technical support and supplying parts to drivers who rely on the company to compete with the SEAT León Supercopa and SEAT León S2000, at national races such as the CER Spanish Endurance Cup and at international ones such as the European Production Series.

Also private teams at events such as the World Touring Car Championship, the ongoing French and German editions of the Supercopa, can count on SEAT’s support.

In the words of SEAT Sport director, Jaime Puig: “We will maintain a high profile at national and international motorsports events, closely collaborating with all SEAT customers who participate at different championships, from track racing to endurance, and with SEAT importers who organize Supercopa races in Germany and France. In addition, we are widening our range of activities. We will continue to design accessories, which from now on will be assembled and installed directly in the SEAT Sport facilities, guaranteeing our customers the highest levels of quality.”
